I’m so inspired by videos and blogs all over the internet, but I cannot seem to drag my happy butt into my craft room and get something made. My next video will be a tutorial using black gesso, so keep an eye out for that, but as far as what to do next I feel stuck.
I walk by my craft room, flick the lights on, stare longingly at my desk and then think, “Maybe later.” My “Maybe later” attitude has turned into a weeks-long drought of craftiness. I am so very busy that by the time I get home, I find myself wanting to crawl into bed and forget the world.
I bet this blog post is truly helping you get out of your funk, right? Well, it should. It happens to all of us. We all go through periods where inspiration seems to have run screaming away from us. I usually force myself to sit at my desk and create something and it comes flooding back to me.
How do you get over your crafting blues? Are there any tips, techniques, songs, colors, projects, etc. that get you in the crafty spirit? Make sure you share, because I would sure love to know how to get out of this funk!
