I know I haven’t posted in a while, but my craft room is in shambles right now. My wife and I decided to reorganize our room and since we were reorganizing, why not redo the floors?
We had carpet in our room and chairs on wheels don’t particularly take well to carpet. Meanwhile, paint, glitter, ink, stains, paper, adhesives, etc. don’t come out of carpet easily. Our finances weren’t willing to support paying for laminate or even vinyl, so what were us broke crafters to do?
Paper bag floors! You’ve seen them on YouTube and Pinterest and blogs. They’re amazing. They look like leather or some sort of stone with a shiny varnish over the top. They’ve been quite the workout, but the whole project was under $100.00 and we have enough product left to do at least one more room. I promise I’ll post pictures as soon as it’s done!
Here’s one of the many tutorials based on paper bag flooring!
