Okay, I’m the first to admit when I don’t love an art journal page I’ve created. This is one of them. I don’t love the colors, I don’t love the composition, it’s just blah. That being said, sometimes I really enjoy making pages when I don’t concern myself with the beauty of the final product and I had fun making this one. It’s always fun testing products and how they work together. Using water-soluble media on top acrylic really challenges you to ensure that you don’t mess anything up because a little water and the whole thing gets washed away. If you want to seal a page like this, use a spray sealer so that it seals everything under the fine mist of sealant!

Imperfect Impulses with Aaron 
I like the way the wings are darker on one side and lighter on the other because it gives it almost a dimensional effect as if one side is farther away. Am I making any sense here? Gah! Love your work, Aaron
